Our Purpose
United Baptist Church exist to exalt the Savior, equip the saints, and evangelize the world. The order of our three-fold purpose is based on John 13:34-35: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will now that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” As this is a commandment, the Lordship of Jesus Christ is the primary focus. Second in importance is the relationship between Christ’s followers. The third point is the view of the world. We therefore exist to:
1. Exalt the Savior by encouraging personal worship of God and facilitating cooperate worship together
2. Equip the saints with sound biblical teaching to develop Christ-like character and activity.
3. Evangelize the world by mobilizing our members in ministry and mission to share the Gospel
